Our water filter employees three (3) filtration stages. Firstly the less than ordinary tap water fills the inner liner and it passes through our ceramic candle outer layer. The ceramic pores of the candle filter down suspended solids to  0.1 microns, which is just about everything.

Secondly the inner layer of the filter candle is filled with silver coated activated carbon and the bacteria is destroyed by the silver coating.

Lastly the activated carbon removes any odours leaving you with pure drinking water. The ceramic cases of the water filter are all coated with compressive fit, food safe glazes which gives you the safety and purity of glass.

The SRV standard water filter has three (3) ceramic filter candles, all of which are filled with silver coated activated carbon granules. The filter candles will remove up to 99.7% of all micro organisms, bacteria, heavy metals like lead, copper and iron, suspended solids, chlorine and organic pesticides.

As water passes through the filter candles ceramic outer layer, all suspended solids greater than 0.1 micron are trapped by the ceramic material. Bacteria is destroyed by the silver coating of the carbon and odours are removed by the activated carbon particles. The end result is pure, clean, fresh and above all safe drinking water.
